Granted this one is a bit dark and brooding. It’s intentional. The allegory in this painting is that life has storms and they often alter us. Even spiritually we can be transformed and God’s means of change can sometimes be painful. However so often I hear the altered one — including myself — say’ “It’s one of the most profound life experiences I’ve had. Even though it was hell, I wouldn’t give it up — it made me a stronger, better person.
